The Yukon Public Legal Education Association (YPLEA) is a non-profit organization devoted to providing legal information to the public and promoting increased access to the legal system. The goal of the Association is to help the public to identify and understand their legal rights and responsibilities in order to improve their ability to deal with legal matters.
Board of Directors
Christina Brobby is the Executive Director of the Yukon Public Legal Education Association and staffs the Law Line. Christina is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and a member of the Law Society of Yukon. She worked for a number of years in private practice in Whitehorse and for the Territorial Government.
YPLEA operates the Yukon Law Line, a free legal information service. HOURS Mondays and Tuesdays: 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m.) Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (closed between 2:30 and 3:00) Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Fridays: CLOSED
